My Aged Care Package
My Aged Care (“MAC”) Packages comprise of 3 x different Packages that can provide Exercise Physiology Services to help Seniors maintain their health, well-being and independence.
These Packages are:
- Home Care Package (HCP)
- Short-term restorative care (STRC)
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
The above Packages usually include a therapy component, which can be used to undertake an exercise therapy program with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist at our facility in Como.
The MAC system can be quite difficult to navigate for all users and unfortunately, Exercise Physiology services through the My Aged Care Packages is advertised poorly. We suggest that you discuss your options with your Care Organisation/Provider to ensure you fully understand what is available to you.
Depending on the specifics of your My Aged Care Package, you can receive services at our facility in Como, by following these simple steps:
Step 1 | Contact your care organisation/provider to ensure your My Aged Care Package includes therapy funding. |
Step 2 | Call us on 9450 8888 to discuss your needs and make an appointment with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. |
Step 3 | In collaboration with your Care Organisation/Provider a service agreement will be drawn up. |
Step 4 | Attend your initial appointment to commence your Exercise Physiology sessions. And start creating a better you with a better quality of life and continued independence. |
